  1. Soak the almonds overnight in cold water.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, cream, tahini, strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened slightly.
  4. Drain the almonds and rinse them well. Add them to the saucepan and simmer for another 5 minutes.
