  1. Wash and core the apples, then cut them into small pieces.
  2. Combine the apples, sugar, and water in a large pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Dissolve the pectin in a cup of cold water and add it to the boiling apple mixture. Stir well and continue boiling for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
