  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  3. While pasta is cooking, remove sausage from casing and crumble into a large skillet.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  5. Add crumbled sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
  6. Stir in marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, or until sauce has thickened.
  7. Drain pasta and return it to the pot.
  8. Stir in ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
