  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss strawberries with 1/2 cup sugar and orange liqueur. Let macerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the pie crust and transfer it to a 9-inch pie plate. Trim the edges.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Add to the strawberries and stir well.
