Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sausage, bread crumbs, milk, Parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
  3. Form mixture into 1-inch (~2.5cm) meatballs.
  4. In a large skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides.
  5. In a separate large bowl, combine crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, and green bell pepper. Stir well.
  6. Transfer meatballs to a baking dish and pour tomato sauce over them.
