  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir in the vanilla and rum extracts.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with 1/2 cup of the dark rum. Beat until just combined.
