Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the mushrooms, onion, and garlic until softened, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the thyme, parsley, cream, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to a 12-inch (30 cm) circle.
  6. Cut the circle into 8 equal triangles.
  7. Place a spoonful of the mushroom filling on the wide end of each triangle.
  8. Fold up the triangles, starting with the wide end. Crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
  9. Transfer the turnovers to the prepared baking sheet.
