  1. Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker and pour the barbecue sauce mixture over it. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours, or until the pork is tender and falls apart.
  4. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
