  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the yellow cake mix, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, eggs, and canola oil until well blended.
  3. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar until smooth.
  5. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top of the cake batter in 12 to 15 places.
