  1. Rinse the quinoa in a fine-mesh sieve until the water runs clear.
  2. Heat the canola oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the quinoa and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the vegetable broth to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the liquid has been absorbed.
