Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  3. While the spaghetti is cooking, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
  4. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
  5. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
