  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix, Irish cream liqueur, hot coffee, butter, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. In a small bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
