  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, cream, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture and let them soak for a few minutes.
  4. Turn the slices over and soak the other side.
  5. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
