Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped onion, bell peppers, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Press half of the meat mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the meat mixture.
  5. Top with the remaining meat mixture and press down firmly.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup and a splash of water. Brush the top of the meatloaf with the ketchup mixture.
