Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ladyfingers and orange liqueur. Let stand for 5 minutes, or until the ladyfingers are softened.
  3. Arrange the ladyfingers in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and mascarpone cheese until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gradually add the sugar, cocoa powder, chopped chocolate, orange zest, and orange juice to the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
  8. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers in the baking dish.
  9. Top with a layer of finely chopped chocolate.
  10. Repeat layers.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
