  1. Clean and wash the dandelion leaves thoroughly. Remove any impurities or tough stems.
  2. In a medium-sized pot, bring water to a boil and add the dandelion leaves. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the leaves and reserve the liquid.
  4. In the same pot, add sugar and continue cooking until sugar dissolves.
  5. Once the sugar is dissolved, add the reserved dandelion liquid, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and salt. Stir well.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for another 10 minutes.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool at room temperature.
