Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Remove from heat and drain excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until thickened.
  5. In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, spinach, Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spread 1 cup of tomato sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with lasagna noodles, then half of the ground turkey mixture.
  7. Spread with half of the ricotta mixture, followed by half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
  8. Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
  9. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
