Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in the bowl and coat it with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight.
  4. Remove the pork from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for 30 minutes.
  5. Place the pork in a Dutch oven or slow cooker. Pour the marinade over the pork and cover.
