Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef, onion, carrots, garlic, and ginger. Season with salt and black pepper and cook until the ground beef is browned and the vegetables are softened.
  3. Add the cabbage and cook until it begins to wilt, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the beef stock, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
