Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Drizzle the inside of the squash halves with olive oil.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Roast face down in the preheated oven for 60-75 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  7. Use a fork to scrape the flesh of the squash into spaghetti-like strands.
  8. In a large bowl, combine the spaghetti squash strands with the herbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
