  1. Crush the ladyfingers into fine crumbs in a food processor or with a rolling pin.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, espresso, and rum.
  3. Bring a small saucepan of water to a simmer and place a heatproof bowl over it to create a double boiler. Add the chocolate and butter to the bowl and heat, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth.
  4. Remove the bowl from the heat and stir in the ladyfinger crumbs and the cocoa mixture until combined.
