  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  3. Peel and thinly slice potatoes. Spread half of the potatoes in the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Chop onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Spread half of the vegetables over the potatoes.
  5. Top with bacon, diced tomatoes, and green chilies.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, vegetables, bacon, tomatoes, and chilies.
