  5. Green bell pepper - 1, diced
  6. Tomato - 2 large, chopped
  7. Brown sugar - 3 tbsp
  8. Ketchup - 1/4 cup
  9. Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  10. Salt and pepper - to taste
  11. Cooking oil - 3 tbsp

Preparation Method Steps:

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the cooking oil on medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and cook until fragrant and slightly softened.
  3. Add the diced bell peppers and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the monkey meat and increase the heat to high. Brown the meat well, breaking it up into smaller pieces as needed.
  5. Once the meat is browned, add the chopped tomatoes and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add the ketchup, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
