Preparation Method Steps:

  1. In a small bowl, combine all the seasonings (smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper).
  2. Wash and pat dry the chicken drumsticks.
  3. Season the drumsticks liberally with the prepared spice mixture.
  4. Place the drumsticks on a wire rack set inside a baking sheet.
  5. Smoke the drumsticks at 225-250°F for 2-3 hours, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Baste the drumsticks with any remaining spice mixture every 30 minutes during smoking.
  7. Remove the drumsticks from the smoker and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
