Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add Szechuan peppercorns and dried chili flakes and stir-fry for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  3. Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry for an additional minute.
  4. Add green beans and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, or until they begin to turn bright green.
  5. Season with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Continue stir-frying for another 5-7 minutes, or until green beans are tender and slightly charred.
