Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Sauté the onion and garlic in a large skillet with olive oil until softened.
  2. Add the chopped spinach and artichoke hearts and cook until wilted.
  3. Stir in the Italian seasoning and cook for another minute.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spread a layer of white lasagna noodles in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with 1/3 of the spinach and artichoke mixture.
  7. Spread with 1/3 of the ricotta mixture.
  8. Repeat layers two more times.
  9. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  10. Pour the chicken broth around the edges of the lasagna.
  11. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 45 minutes.
  12. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  13. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
