Preparation Method Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground pork over medium heat. Add the onion, green pepper, and red pepper and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, or until heated through.
  4. Spread half of the meat mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with the frozen tater tots. Spread the remaining meat mixture over the tater tots.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and bake for 5 minutes more, or until the cheese is melted.
